Its been a little while since my last blog. I do apologise, I had a family holiday at the end of May, shortly after attending my first ever Trade Fair at the White Gallery in London.
All I can say is "Wow, Wow and Wow" I didnt know where to look first, there were so many dresses and sparkles, lace and glitter, and even sixpences that could be found in shoes...........
I did not quite know where to begin, and just aimlessly walked around, gazing at each little hub of beautiful'ness. Of course having dresses that are preloved, I manage to have a huge collection of international names, so recognised many of the stands offering their wares, all except one. I first walked past Donna Lee Brides thinking how fabulous the model looked in her dress and kindly took the brochure she handed to me, after walking around and finding a heaven of shoes, of course all way out of Mollydollys budget, I carried on looking at other dresses, popping in to speak to the sales consultants checking out costs and minimum orders, all of which were not really favourable to a little upcoming business like Mollydollys.
After agreeing with one company for them to email me some information once they had got back home to Japan, I left feeling a little disheartened, how was I ever going to add in new dresses when I needed to rob a bank to buy the samples in the first place. So to cheer myself up, I went to say hi to my accessories stockist and placed a humble order with them.
As I came out of the Richard Designs hub, I was drawn back to Donna Lee Brides so headed towards them. I was greeted by a friendly warm smile from Donna. After the initial formalities, we chatted as if we had known each other for years, along with giving me a fabulous catwalk display of her stunning dresses, I couldn't resist one after the other, I left with a signed order for 9 fabulously, stunning dresses that will be ready to order from Mollydollys in September. I am very very excited about this new venture with Donna Lee Designs.
