When Lou Lou came to visit Mollydollys in October 2015, I was an emotional bag of excitement, wonder and anxiousness. I had immediately fallen in love with the idea of 1950's vintage dresses to have on the rails at Mollydollys, but how would they be received by the brides, was I stepping into the unknown and making a big mistake ? Would girls love the thought of wearing a tea length wedding dress or a floaty romantic full length version ? Only time would tell.
After the excitement and marketing of the first 6 samples, they finally arrived in April 2016. It was one thing everyone liking and loving the photos, what would they think of them in the flesh, would they be just as amazed by them like I was, going along the line picking and choosing my 6, it had been such a hard decision, even with the help of the lovely Jane and Chris.
I did not have long to wait when my first order was placed in June, and then a couple more followed, by the time September 2016 came for me to meet with Jane again and to fall in love with her 2017 collection, I had made several Lou Lou sales, they had been a hit with my brides, this was a great start, considering Mollydollys was still under a year in trading from the shop.
One of those brides was the very beautiful Laura.
Laura came to Mollydollys wearing her 1950s slacks, bright red lipstick, with fabulous updo to match, I was in awe and loved her style and of course it was obvious that she would pick a Lou Lou.
Still a year away from her wedding, she fell in love with Deliah, and after telling me her ideas and theme for her wedding, I could not wait to see the final result.
Laura married her groom in January 2017 and here she is on her wedding day. We are totally loving Lou Lou and so thrilled to have the Collection at Mollydollys.
